JOB SUMMARY
The 2 Project Directors - HIV Prevention, Care and Treatment AND Voluntary Medical Male Circumcision, will provide project leadership in support of the Government of Kenya and other partners implementing HIV prevention, care and treatment services in Nairobi and Central Provinces. The Directors will be responsible for supporting public, private and NGO counterparts to increase access and improve the quality of services (provider initiated testing and counseling, basic care and support, treatment, TB/HIV services, prevention of mother to child transmission, prevention with positives, and voluntary medical male circumcision) in the project’s area of implementation within GOK and PEPFAR guidelines.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Candidates should meet one of the following criteria:

· Be of African origin, with extensive experience in the region;

· Have US work permit, to be based in USA, and work in Africa;

· If from other countries, should have several years of HIV related experience in Africa.
Candidates should meet all of the following criteria:
At least five years of work experience in HIV/AIDS programs with 3-5 years of supervisory experience. Preferably MD with masters in public health. Excellent management, interpersonal and communication skills; ability to prioritize work according to importance and deadlines while meeting conflicting work demands; possess initiative, patience, tact, and able to work with minimum supervision; and ability to work effectively in a team and support others in their work.
