WASHINGTON, DC, and PRETORIA, SOUTH AFRICA, September 17, 2009 - The American International Health Alliance (AIHA) is deeply saddened to announce the loss of one of our partners, award-winning Zambian recording artist Lily Tembo, known to her fans as "Lily T." Tembo, 27, died on the evening of September 14 near her home in Lusaka as a result of severe gastritis and anemia. Her funeral was held today in Zambia.

Washington, DC, July 9, 2009 - HIV/AIDS Twinning Center partners at the Universidade Católica de Moçambique (UCM) and the University of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania celebrated the opening of a new HIV/AIDS clinic and training center. St. Luke's Health Center officially opened its doors at UCM's Beira campus on June 17, greatly expanding accessibility to high quality primary care and HIV/AIDS services to people in Mozambique's Sofala Province.

WASHINGTON, DC, July 7, 2009 - The American International Health Alliance (AIHA) has established a new partnership through its HIV/AIDS Twinning Center Program that will support the US President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) by building critical institutional and human resource capacity in the field of emergency medicine. Established with support from CDC/Ethiopia and in close cooperation with the Ethiopian Ministry of Health, this partnership is the Twinning Center's seventh in the country.

I have read the employmenrt invitations that you have gbeen sending. Most who qualify are of African descent. I find this appalling. If the African countries had it so much together thenm why do they have the problems. It seems that they need to be Americanized so that they may get out of the rut they're in.
